We became a Fairtrade school after hosting a fairtrade event in our school; we first educated all the children in the school on the importance of buying Fairtrade and then we invited community members into the school for a sample of Fairtrade products. We hope that educating the children and the wider community will have a lasting effect on improving conditions for people in developing countries.
